Feel the Love in Taiwan
HEYA! HAPPY 2009!
Alright man, just got back from Taiwan on 2nd Jan night! I really miss that place man. Emmsy, FattyFel, Shuubs, Kennethkoh, Sarah, Joshua, and Kao ! We stayed at Kao's uncle's place and it was so cosy, we felt like a family ! We had a super pig-ish lifestyle. Late nights with card games, late mornings, lunch, shopping, tea, shopping, dinner, movies, supper.... Hahahaha. The weather started off as 20+ degrees when we first landed, but the last three days got to 11 +/- degrees! Super chillly!
Ximending and Shih Lin were our favs, yummy road side food (Oyster MeeSua, Guo Tie, Legend Bubble Tea, EggOyster, XXL Chicken, Smelly Toufu) and cheap shopping ! Theme Park day was at Tao Yuan's Leofoo village. Haha i remember the rides cos Channel 56 used to show the celebs playing at that themepark. Kenneth and his bright idea made us sat the stupid water ride that got everyone especially Joshua drenched from head to foot. We froze on the way back! Can you imagine, soaked shoes and jeans in 10 degrees. Omg, we couldn't even walk to the house properly! Haha.
More shopping at WuFenPu too. The girls bought A LOT of shoes! Kao's mum treated us to SteamBoat lunch which was awesomely yummy, we just kept eating & eating cos it was buffet! We had dinner at Din Tai Fung on one of the nights too, at SOGO, gosh the standard is 100000times better! Haha. XinGuangSanYue for more shopping, arcade games, dinner, and movies! Countdown was at Taipei 101 and it was terrific ! We went up the 88th floor too, and the view was simply picturesque.
This entry is totally summarized but yea, all i can say is that the trip went perfectly well. Thank God for everything! Time went by really fast and no one wanted to leave ! ): ahhh damn, BUT, this is definitely not the last time we're gna travel like that, haha. (OH, plus we were very privileged to have Sarah's Dad pilot the flight to Taipei!)
TODAY. or rather, yesterday, i woke up super late, thank gdness quackers was still sleeping, haha. we headed to NTU, for our Primary 6 class party ! OMG, it's soooooo damn good seeing everyone again ! We played many many card games and laughed like crazy, hurrr i really miss nanyang!
quackers and i left early to dinner with his family at Equinox! i had Tuna Steak, yummmmyyy! He and Stef had King Scallops whilst his parents had BlackCod! Home after that, and i'm off to bed now. Breakfast with quackers tmr, dental, and probably meeting WHOS! :D
